omitt exists so your data doesn't end up where it shouldn't. That standard applies to this website too. This notice explains what OLIVCO collects through omitt, why it is collected, who processes it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Waitlist: the email address you type in and which signup form you used (top or bottom of the page).

Optional email feedback: choosing Send feedback opens a draft in your mail app addressed to hello@omitt.app. The draft includes omitt and the app version. You write the message and decide whether to send it. If you send it, we receive the message, your sender address, and standard email headers. omitt never attaches a document, clipboard content, detection result, device identifier, or usage history.

Basic hosting logs: Vercel may process limited technical data such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time to deliver and protect the site. omitt does not add analytics, tracking, or advertising identifiers.

Why we use it

No newsletters, no unrelated marketing sequences, and no selling of personal data. You can withdraw waitlist consent at any time by writing to hello@omitt.app. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it.

What we don't do

Who processes the data

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, the transfers are covered by their data-processing terms and safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for information about the applicable safeguards.

How long we keep it

Waitlist data is deleted no later than 90 days after the public launch, or earlier if you withdraw consent. Feedback is kept while we investigate or act on it and may then be archived for up to 12 months so we can track whether the issue was resolved. Hosting logs follow the provider's limited security and operational retention periods. Data may be retained longer only where law requires it or it is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of your data. You can withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@omitt.app. We normally respond within days and always within the period required by law.

You also have the right to complain to the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych) at uodo.gov.pl, or to the supervisory authority where you live or work.

What happens if you do not provide data

You do not have to join the waitlist or send feedback. We need an email address only if you want the beta and launch messages. Feedback is optional and is sent only if you choose to send the draft from your mail app. We do not make automated decisions or profile you.

The app itself

omitt processes files entirely on your Mac. Files are never uploaded, and the app makes no outbound network calls. Choosing Send feedback only asks macOS to open a draft in your mail app. omitt does not send it. Your mail app sends the email only if you choose to press Send there.
