Short, because there's
little to disclose.

omitt exists so your data doesn't end up where it shouldn't. That standard applies to this website too. Here is everything it does with your data - the full list is short.
What we collect
One email address, only if you type it in. When you join the waitlist, we store the email you give us and which form you used (top or bottom of the page). That's the complete list.
What we use it for
- One email when the beta opens.
- One email when the product launches.
No newsletters, no marketing sequences, no sharing or selling. The legal basis is your consent - you gave us the address for exactly this purpose.
What we don't do
- No cookies.
- No analytics or tracking scripts.
- No advertising pixels or fingerprinting.
- No selling or sharing of your address with anyone.
Who processes the data
- Loops (loops.so, USA) stores waitlist signups and sends our emails on our behalf.
- Vercel, Inc. (USA) hosts this site. Like any web host, it keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and operations.
How long we keep it
Until the product launches and the waitlist has done its job, or until you ask to be removed - whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask to be deleted. One email to dpo@omitt.app and it's done - usually within days, always within 30.
The app itself
When omitt ships, it processes your files entirely on your Mac. Files are never uploaded, and the app makes no outbound network calls during detection or redaction. The app's privacy policy will live here alongside this one when the beta opens.
